Fighting the Man🥊

‼️Having covered three Trump campaigns, I can tell you there is NOTHING in politics like Trump on the road.

• ✈️This weekend, he hits the road to start a month leading up to the midterms.

• Trump worked in 2016 and 2024 because he channeled the anger of Americans left behind, beat down, forgotten, broke and frustrated.

  • He promised to take on the system — both Republicans and Democrats — to fight for them.

  • Lately, he’s been telling those same folks they should be happy about their 401(k)’s and says gas prices will come down after the midterms.

‼️Meantime, Democrats are now the ones running against the system

• 📰Axios headlines “‘Washington is broken’: Democrats running for office turn sharply against their own party”

Outside the beltway🤷: The majority of Americans think the system is rigged against them — they aren’t wrong

• ‼️The system works for and protects itself

  • The health insurance companies

  • Big tech and banks

  • Politicians themselves

  • 📃The list goes on

What I am thinking💭: Donald Trump promised to tear down the system — now he’s seen as the system. This is his chance to change it.

Collective wisdom: In the past two weeks, the warnings have gone from a blue wave to blue apocalypse — I am always skeptical of group think.

• At this time in 2016, Clinton’s folks thought they might win Iowa and Ohio — point is, things change.

• There is nobody better at channeling outrage than Donald Trump — can he do it a third time?

Politicians Just Got More Arrogant🤦

🤦Just when you thought politicians couldn’t get even more arrogant, they’ve now decided they don’t need to debate.

• 📰Axios headlines “Debate-shy: Candidates aren’t sharing the stage like they used to” writing:

  • “In 10 of the most closely watched races for governor, there are no agreed-upon debates between the major-party nominees in half of them”

  • Look back🔙: It used to be if you were running for governor or Senate, you had to debate — and if you didn’t, it was seen as being a coward and disrespectful to voters

  • Today 📅: Candidates feel as though they don’t have to debate.

    • Instead, they interview on their respective TV networks and go on social media

    • Here are candidates that are refusing or haven’t committed to debating:

      • Ken Paxton, R-Texas

      • Amy Acton, D-Ohio

      • David Jolly, D-Fla.

      • Katie Hobbs, D-Ariz.

      • Ashley Moody, R-Fla.

      • Mark Lamb, R-Ariz.

      • Paul Gosar, R-Ariz.

⚠️The lack of debates is bad for Americans and our democracy.

• Not having debates sets a bad precedent because it continues to erode the things that make America different

• This isn’t a left or right issue — it’s a right vs. wrong issue

  • What I’m thinking💭: Joe Biden would still be on the ticket if he didn’t debate Trump in 2024.

🗣️We told you the best thing that could’ve happened during the Trump-Xi summit was nothing — and guess what, absolutely nothing happened.

• China has become arguably too big to confront

• 📰Politico headlines “Trump’s do-no-harm summit with Xi” writing:

  • “President Donald Trump’s lavish summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping bought the White House time — and little else.”

  • The three-day summit felt less like a diplomatic visit and more like a student field trip for Xi, with him taking notes

• Trump says he and Xi “will be meeting again in November, in China, and then at the G20 in December, in Miami, Florida. Much has been, and will be, accomplished. We’ll have to wait and see if anything happens.”

  • Trump likes to say after 50 years, he’s the only president who confronted Iran — yes.

  • Now be the only president to confront China and put them in their place:

    • Make them pay the price for COVID

    • For stealing American technology

    • For what they’re doing to the Uyghurs

    • For bullying our allies

      • That would be one hell of a legacy.

Life lesson❗: Be very wary of people saying, I will protect you if you just give me a little more power.

🗣️You’re going to hear all weekend from Bill Gates that the AI apocalypse is coming.

• He told Meet the Press that “AI is certainly powerful enough to drive events that, you know, cause a billion deaths”

• The globalists have a fascination with apocalypse because they can demand power to protect us.

  • First it was climate change

  • Then Donald Trump

  • Then COVID

  • Then Donald Trump

  • Now AI

• Proof☑️: If Gates and others are really worried about AI, they would support holding the companies making AI models responsible for what the models do — that’s the opposite of what’s happening.

Easy answer🤦: The answer to solving the AI doomsday is simple: The AI bros can keep building their AI models but don’t release them until they’re sure it’s not going to kill everybody.
