Re the candidates non-debates: I agree that it’s evidence of arrogance by the politicians. But I also think it’s fear—fear of defending policy stands. Fear of not knowing the issues well. When you have a staff cranking our white or pink or green papers stating your position, you’re terrified of not knowing the subject and having everyone know it.
Your show is must see TV, and your War Notes are informative.

I agree with you, Leland. Not having debates definitely sets a bad precedent,because you’re debate your opponent for the senate at least 2 or 3 times and I believe that debating is a good thing. And that’s because you’re debate your know the candidate, their positions on the economy, affordability, etc. so you know who you’re going to vote for and why you’re going for or against them. That is what makes America different ! Dawn
