Well done show last night. A suggestion/observation: everyone refers to our form of government as a democracy. I understand why—politicians, teachers, certainly the news media have conflated the two for decades. All the history and government texts treat democracy as a synonym for a republic. They’re different things.
I’d love it if you referred to our form of government as a republic, as referred to in our nation’s founding documents, among other sources .
