The news‼️: Inflation continues to run — it’s not nearly as bad as during Biden’s years, but the news only confirms what everybody is feeling.
The price problem💰: Neither side is willing to have a serious conversation about prices and the economy — and that should make us all angry.
Republicans won’t acknowledge they need to restore fairness to the economy with structural change
Mike Rogers’ wife handing out gas cards at least shows you get the problem but feels awfully socialist — at least people know you care
Democrats refuse to move “solutions” that only raise prices
Everything Biden did to “lower” prices had the reverse effect — that’s what Democrats keep promising
Abdul El-Sayed talks about gas prices yet is on tape wanting to put fossil fuel companies out of business — yikes!
Seriously, folks — this ain’t hard.
For Republicans❗: If a carpenter can’t deduct a new pickup truck, Jeff Bezos shouldn’t be able to deduct a new Gulfstream or yacht.
For Democrats❗: Rent controls, government grocery stores and handouts raise prices
In Chicago, a Democratic city in a Democratic-run state, they can’t balance their budget, so the mayor today announced they needed to raise taxes because everyone left.
Just like everyone leaving California and New York
Watch tonight📺: Mike Nellis and former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich from Chicago with us tonight.

Desperate times 🚨: With three weeks before the election, Trump wants a deal in Ukraine — and the only leverage he has is over Zelenskyy, and he’s using it.
📰“Ukrainian military’s access to Starlink satellite internet suddenly restricted” headlines The Guardian
Nothing says “F U” like turning off your internet and weapons targeting — it’s like what a parent does to their unruly teenager.
But now the internet is back on.
The U.S. is now crippling Ukraine in favor of Vladimir Putin — and it’s clear Trump is running out of patience with Zelenskyy.
Remember‼️: Trump can have two of three things:
Vladimir Putin
The Iranians squeezed on their best behavior
Low gas prices for the midterms

“The Devil Wears MAGA” 👀
😬Firing Kimberly Guilfoyle may turn out to be Donald Trump’s most consequential choice of the year.
🔥It certainly seems like a burn book is coming, and there are a lot of people in MAGA she can burn
📰Daily Mail headlines, “Kimberly Guilfoyle’s burn book revealed. Her MAGA secrets kept in a journal so potent it has nervous Trump insiders fearing revenge: ‘ She knows where the bodies are buried,” writing:
“She is now threatening to release contents of the diary insiders are dubbing ‘The Devil Wears MAGA.’”
Look back🔙: Guilfoyle has been in close proximity to power for a long time on both sides of the aisle:
Married to potential 2028 contender Gavin Newsom
Spent a decade rubbing shoulders with power players at Fox News
Had a six-year relationship and was engaged to Don Jr.
📰The Hill headlines “Guilfoyle ‘certainly more’ than just some woman Trump’s son dated: Grisham”
What I’m thinking💭: How does the White House keep this woman from going rogue? What is happening behind the scenes to keep her from going scorched earth?
Look back🔙: Last week we started asking who is behind the Guilfoyle dossier given to The Wall Street Journal — and more importantly, why are they doing it now?
If/when she goes scorched earth, the anti-MAGA will welcome her with open arms.
My prediction🤔: This isn’t the end of Guilfoyle; she’s got lots of possible next lives waiting for her:
“Dancing with the Stars”
“The Golden Bachelorette”
“Real Housewives”
“The View”
Any other ideas?
Tonight📺: Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci
Great point Leah- I’m struggling to vote at all. I won’t vote DNC - disgusted by racism - Evan Obama campaigning for Sayed speaks volumes on how far down Democratic Party politics have tanked.
As for Trump tipping the scale to Putin, now Musk turning off starlink I cannot vote for this Republican Party which has seriously lost its way- I don’t recognize my party.
I teased Leland about his summertime fantasy of a thirds party- however I think independence to be an independent may be the way forward since I am ever committed to staying engaged.
Politicians on both sides of the aisle are not on our side. They are on their side. It might be time to Vote Independent…
