Good news👍: Gas prices are down 40 cents this month — why isn’t anyone talking about it?
Plus➕: Not much has changed in the past week — is the market being manipulated?
And: The strategic petroleum reserve might be in a grave crisis?!
I am SO confused😵💫
‼️Once again, President Trump called off airstrikes and took the Iranians’ word that there might be a memorandum of understanding to have a deal sometime in the future.
He cites *new Iranian promises.
📰Read more about the deal from Barak Ravid — it’s as thin as turnip soup
Ravid: “The sources said the gaps were narrowed on three key issues:
The mechanism for releasing Iran’s frozen assets — the most important issue for the Iranians
Arrangements for reopening the Strait of Hormuz during the 60-day ceasefire period
How negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program will be conducted during the 60-day ceasefire period”
Ravid: “Fars semi official news agency which is affiliated with the IRGC quoted an “informed source close to Iran’s negotiation team” as saying that “no text for a preliminary memorandum of understanding with the United States has been approved”
Lucy and the football🏈: My job is to ask questions, so here it goes — when has taking the Iranians’ word on ANYTHING worked out well for ANYONE much less Trump?
He keeps getting burned over and over.
Huh🤔: America keeps taking concrete actions of goodwill, and the Iranians keep making promises while continuing to punch us in the nose.
Been there📍: I have been through many ceasefires and deals as a Middle East correspondent
It’s very simple🤷: The fighting doesn’t stop till everyone agrees on a certain set of conditions, all published in three languages, signed by everyone.
Let’s get serious‼️: As we have been saying for two months, Bill O’Reilly said last night – and The Wall Street Journal opinion today — Trump needs a new Middle East strategy based on the disproportional use of massive military force.
Local politics📺: Long-time Trump supporter and staffer Caroline Sunshine — she’s now a leading voice in the America First antiwar crew.
She joins tonight — let’s say Trump has pulled off the 9D chess and THIS time it’s all different.
Does that mean the America First crew is back supporting him?
Does this mean he’s now back to being a genius after you said he betrayed America first?
Profound EVIL‼️: The Jerusalem Post reports women in Iran are being forced to sell their hair to survive.
⚠️Earlier this week, authorities intercepted 143 bundles of hair being smuggled from Iran at the Armenian border.
The hair was hidden in pillows
📰The Post writes:
“While many Iranian activists have speculated that the hair came from some of the tens of thousands of protesters killed during the January demonstrations, according to figures published by human rights organizations, former Iran International security director Roger Macmillan said he believes it is more likely the hair came from women driven by economic desperation to sell it.”
This comes as many Iranian families are waiting for the bodies of their loved ones killed during the uprising in January.
“Maybe there’s an innocent explanation. Maybe not. But when truckloads of women’s hair keep leaving Iran while families are denied the bodies of their daughters, people have every right to ask questions,” writes Israeli journalist Emily Schrader.
What I’m thinking💭: This is a regime that rapes women before killing them, so I wouldn’t put it past them…
Yet again, all the people on the Left who are all about women’s rights are totally silent
Midterm Madness🗳️
😡The deep and growing anger at the political establishment in America is palpable — we’ve been talking about this for months.
Watch📺: Our buddy Mark Halperin on Next Up, explaining in stark terms
Plus➕: Halperin rightly highlighted Platner’s launch video — the messenger is an objectively bad guy, but the message is resonating
Universal health care
Better veterans care
No more endless wars
Strengthen unions against CEOs
No surprise🤷: Democratic golden boy and trans-Jesus lover James Talarico is ahead of deeply flawed Attorney General Ken Paxton in Texas
Talarico: 44.3%
Paxton: 43.7%
Read📰: The Hill writes, “Midterm pressures threaten GOP unity”
👀There’s a reason James Talarico is doing well in Texas — despite talking about running a vegan campaign and his belief in nonbinary, trans-Jesus.
People are angry because they feel the establishment in Washington is looking out for itself instead of the voters.
📊Recent polling shows 50.3% of Americans would support a Democratic candidate if the election were today
And 39.5% would support a Republican candidate
Warning🚨: The real danger in Texas is soft Republicans not showing up rather than voting for the very peculiar Talarico.
Good read📰: Axios headlines “Trump gifts Dems read-made midterm ads,” writing:
“Trump has served up a platter of ready-made campaign ads to Democrats, suggesting he’s fine with rising prices and unconcerned about Americans’ financial struggles.”
Tonight📺: Chris Salcedo
Back to the Gilded Age 🔙
💰SpaceX’s upcoming IPO is probably going to create more billionaires than any one-day event ever in history.
Why it matters‼️: America is headed back to the Gilded Age.
Look back🔙: Every society since time began has had the pharaoh class and servant class
What made America different was a vibrant and thriving middle class that got richer and more prosperous as the rich grew
The American dream came out of the Gilded Age — and was so unique and fundamental to the idea of fairness in our country
Today📅: The middle class is getting hit every year with higher and higher prices — and the wealthy are seeing their wealth explode
The American dream is feeling farther and farther away
This is why socialism seems appealing to 66% of Democrats
📺Last night, Stephen Moore said the middle class has never been better off
Fact check☑️: Yes, never before has a middle class been able to afford the things we can now in the way they can now versus the 1960s, but it doesn’t feel that way
Throwback🔙: Walmart co-founder Sam Walton used to be embarrassed to fly on his private jet
Today📅: The wealthy’s wealth is thrown in our face
This summer we will see pictures of the wealthy in southern France on their yachts
We’re even seeing it today with the NBA Finals tickets
Good read📰: The New York Times headlines, “Billionaires’ Billions Are Increasing Faster Than Ever,” writing:
“Fifteen years ago, the world’s billionaires collectively had $4.5 trillion. By 2024, their wealth had more than tripled to $14.2 trillion. Now, their combined wealth totals $20.1 trillion — an amount that is equivalent to nearly a fifth of the entire world’s total yearly output.”
🔀There’s this intersection of politics and culture of how people feel in America.
Politics is always downstream of culture.
American culture is getting very angry at the billionaire world, ruling class — and with good reason, because the American economy no longer feels fair.
Tonight📺: Steve Cortes, who was one of the first people to ring the alarm bells on this growing divide.
The Rise of Islam⚠️
‼️The European political class found a new villain — Elon Musk.
You see, the problem isn’t Muslim immigrants overrunning European cities; it’s Elon Musk allowing people on X to talk about it on X.
🗣️Mr. Trillionaire-to-be, Elon Musk, is now the loudest great spokesman for Western values and the importance of saving Western civilization.
It helps having as he once illustrated FU money — how can we forget the “go f*ck yourself” Andrew Ross Sorkin interview — it really is a classic
What’s happening‼️: It’s the second night of riots in Belfast after a Sudanese immigrant attempted to behead a man in the street
Anti-liberal elites of Europe’s ruling and progressive classes seem to think the bigger problem isn’t the alleged attempted beheading itself — it’s that Elon Musk allowed people to talk about the attack on X.
Reality🤷: The immigrant population in Europe refuses to assimilate — and that is the problem with fundamentalist Islam … it’s a conquering religion
At home‼️: Last night, rioters wearing Knicks jerseys and waving Palestinian flags were destroying taxis in New York.
Tonight📺: Niall Stanage on why the European political class refuses to confront immigrants who want to conquer and destroy the civilization that they say they believe in.

I wish Trump would just do the military thing and get rid of the Iranian Regime and be done with it!!!!! This back and forth is NUTS!
You’re an Honest Broker My Friend… Wish I can Say the Same About Cuomo… 2 nites ago he bashed Trump for going to the Knicks game as well as the Other Glitterati … Wonder where he was Last Night
