‼️Once again, President Trump called off airstrikes and took the Iranians’ word that there might be a memorandum of understanding to have a deal sometime in the future.

• He cites *new Iranian promises.

    • Ravid: “The sources said the gaps were narrowed on three key issues:

      • The mechanism for releasing Iran’s frozen assets — the most important issue for the Iranians

      • Arrangements for reopening the Strait of Hormuz during the 60-day ceasefire period

      • How negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program will be conducted during the 60-day ceasefire period”

    • Ravid: “Fars semi official news agency which is affiliated with the IRGC quoted an “informed source close to Iran’s negotiation team” as saying that “no text for a preliminary memorandum of understanding with the United States has been approved”

• Lucy and the football🏈: My job is to ask questions, so here it goes — when has taking the Iranians’ word on ANYTHING worked out well for ANYONE much less Trump?

Profound EVIL‼️: The Jerusalem Post reports women in Iran are being forced to sell their hair to survive.

• ⚠️Earlier this week, authorities intercepted 143 bundles of hair being smuggled from Iran at the Armenian border.

  • The hair was hidden in pillows

• 📰The Post writes:

  • “While many Iranian activists have speculated that the hair came from some of the tens of thousands of protesters killed during the January demonstrations, according to figures published by human rights organizations, former Iran International security director Roger Macmillan said he believes it is more likely the hair came from women driven by economic desperation to sell it.”

• This comes as many Iranian families are waiting for the bodies of their loved ones killed during the uprising in January.

  • “Maybe there’s an innocent explanation. Maybe not. But when truckloads of women’s hair keep leaving Iran while families are denied the bodies of their daughters, people have every right to ask questions,” writes Israeli journalist Emily Schrader.

  • What I’m thinking💭: This is a regime that rapes women before killing them, so I wouldn’t put it past them…

  • What made America different was a vibrant and thriving middle class that got richer and more prosperous as the rich grew

  • Today📅: The middle class is getting hit every year with higher and higher prices — and the wealthy are seeing their wealth explode

  • Fact check☑️: Yes, never before has a middle class been able to afford the things we can now in the way they can now versus the 1960s, but it doesn’t feel that way

      • This summer we will see pictures of the wealthy in southern France on their yachts

🔀There’s this intersection of politics and culture of how people feel in America.

• Politics is always downstream of culture.

• American culture is getting very angry at the billionaire world, ruling class — and with good reason, because the American economy no longer feels fair.
