I am confused. Is War Notes only on video now, or can they be read? “Tap anywhere to read” just pops up the video again. I often prefer to read all Substack postings as there is not always a quiet space in my world to listen to videos. (Or if it’s quiet it’s bedtime and the news information is often outdated by then!)

Great dispatch to today again, Leland. I agree that these protests and riots in NJ are paid and/or trained rioters leading the mess....wonder how much they get paid because with all the protests they take part in, they certainly are not hard working Americans.
Talking about out of control and angry…have you see the picture of the White House with the UFC cage going up, the cement patio with tables and chairs (for whom? Is there a bar/restaurant serving? Who sits there?)where there used to be a rose garden and the debris filled east side where the East Wing used to be. It is awful to see what has been done to a place once a national treasure. Why is this happening? And doesn’t it make people angry?
When leadership is out of control and angry, don’t you think that mood will prevail in people? It matters what leaders do and say and project precisely because that is what followers will do and say and project.

It also seems that you are sensationalizing stuff and making more out of the poor journalism with which we are faced than the reporting frenzy than is justified. For example, how do you know that people, generally, feel things are out of control. The media is out of control. I do not know about "the people."
Sorry but War Notes is no longer news for ALL Americans. Being pushed to only watch a video when a lot of folks have hearing issues and then push us to subscribe. Not everyone has money for ANOTHER subscription. Sad to say, I am unsubscribing unless things change. News for ALL the people that what NewsNation is about, or maybe not any more.
