“Anthropic filed final paperwork with regulators on Monday for an IPO under the ticker symbol ANT that reports have said could value the company at between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion.”
⚠️In Anthropic’s IPO filing, 93 of the 335 pages talk about the alarming risks that their models can pose to humanity.
They say the technology can pose a “catastrophic or existential risk to humanity”
This is a BIG difference to the company’s mission of building AI for the “benefit of humanity”
They admit guardrails to their models are difficult because their AI models may “resist shutdown”
