Verdict‼️: A Texas jury found a Black teenager guilty of murder for stabbing a fellow (white) high school athlete.
😡Crowds outside the courthouse became visibly angry after the verdict.
What I am thinking💭: Maybe leadership in the African American community is not making things about race when they are not about race.
👀There is ZERO evidence to support Karmelo Anthony’s claim of self-defense.
Austin Metcalf was unarmed and never punched him.
Anthony also brought a knife to a weapons-free school stadium.
An all-white jury convicted him — is that fair?
Be smart🧠: It was an open-and-shut case — should prosecutors have insisted on black jurors so the community couldn’t cry racism?
What is justice❓: The victim is dead. Should another mother lose her son?
Making the case about race gets people on TV — isn’t that the problem?
Prison Yard Rules‼️
‼️In the Middle East, you must be able to fight your way out of a problem, and your enemy must believe you are both willing and ready to do so.
Iran clearly questions America’s ability on all three fronts.
💣U.S. Central Command launched “self defense” strikes after the Iranians shot down a US helicopter.
Watch📱: A drone boat rescued the two pilots — the type of boat they used to rescue is wild.
👀 Check out this video of the unmanned drone boat in action
WAIT WHAT‼️: Self defense?!?! Stop apologizing to the Iranians.
This should be the hand of an angry god — 9 weeks into a 2-week ceasefire, and they shoot down one of our helicopters and we all but apologize for launching “self defense strikes”
“The mission is a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression,” says U.S. Central Command.
Newsflash💥: The Iranians counted on a proportional response — what needs to happen is a disproportionate response
Zoom out🌍: Trump feels like he can’t win and so far is unwilling to fight his way out of a bad situation.
Imagery📷: Iran keeps holding out olive branches while punching us in the nose, and we keep reaching for the olive branch.
Be fair⚖️: Trump now joins a long list of presidents listening to what the Iranians say rather than believing their actions.
Complicated❗: The Israelis are wondering why America can attack Iran, but they can’t —
Amit Segal: “I’m confused. Just two days ago, Trump demanded that Israel refrain from retaliating against Iran because their attack resulted in zero casualties. Why is there a sudden double standard when it comes to a US response?”
Confused: Trump is the only American president to confront the Iranians — his newfound tepidness is deeply confounding.
Look forward▶️: Iran will keep stringing Trump along while rearming and reasserting itself in the Middle East.
🛑The only thing that can stop that is decisive US military action
End game‼️: Trump’s options keep getting worse.
The Mossad and CIA promised uprising never happened
The Iranians now have a rioters’ veto over the Strait of Hormuz
He keeps promising people gas prices will come down.
He is rightly committed to ending Iran’s nuclear weapons program
😬Yikes! He faces many problems, the solutions for which make the other problems worse.
Why Platner Is So Appealing👀
🗳️It’s election night in Maine — and Nazi-tattoo-wearing, rape fantasizer Graham Platner will most likely win the Democratic Senate nomination.
Sign of the times⌚: I can’t believe I just wrote that.
‼️People are so angry with the political establishment they’re willing to vote for a guy who:
Has Nazi-tattoos
Was caught sexting with multiple women while married
Has allegations from ex-girlfriends
Reality🤷: People are angry, and they will do anything and elect anyone who says they are going to help
🗣️Platner said it himself — when you’re working three jobs and can’t afford to put food on the table, all while Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk are nearly trillionaires — they will do anything to elect anyone who says they’re going to help.
Platner: “There is no metric of hard work that justifies a billionaire when people in eastern Maine work three jobs just to put food on the table
🗣️Platner is telling voters he will help them:
Taxing the rich
Making things affordable
Will deliver free health care
🤦Maybe for the general election, he will promise unicorns and pots of gold at the end of rainbows.
Reality check☑️: As a freshman Senator, he will have zero chance of being able to do these things
Good read📰: Politico headlines “Why progressives are refusing to drop Graham Platner,” writing:
“Many on the insurgent left are tired of being asked to fall in line behind candidates who ultimately disappoint them, and they’re ready to keep backing the progressive oysterman — even if it risks costing Democrats the race in November.”
‼️Incumbent Senator Susan Collins is not part of the establishment – she is the establishment
DC loves Collins — she voted to impeach Trump. She is a normie pro- business Republican.
She’s cast 10,000 consecutive votes
She voted for three wars that younger America hates
Result☑️: Angry Americans, rightly or wrongly, see her as responsible for their lot in life.
Look back🔙: In 2016, Donald Trump won the presidency after promising to build a wall and understood why people were angry in Appalachia.
Same people🤦: The same people who said Trump could never win are aghast at Graham Platner — well, not quite…much of the media was far harder on Trump, and he still won.
Same thing🤦: The opposition research dumps were devastating — remember the grab her by the p*ssy tape?!?!
It was disqualifying, said cable news and the DC establishment blah blah blah – the rest of America didn’t care.
People who are saying Platner is unqualified don’t live in parts of America that are really hurting right now.
Warning⚠️: Republicans are making the exact same mistake Democrats made in 2016
Must read📰: The New York Times headlines “The Good That Can Come From Platner’s Candidacy,” writing:
“If Platner can pass muster among Democratic primary voters, then the differences between him and Donald Trump are mainly of degree, not of kind. You may still agree with Platner’s politics, and if you’re in Maine, you may still think he’s a better choice than Collins. What you can no longer do, at least not with any intellectual integrity, is to use moral litmus tests to try to disqualify political figures from the opposing party. To be fine with Platner, knowing what you know now, should also require burying #MeToo in the graveyard of discarded progressive shibboleths.

California At Its Best🤦
‼️The California voting system, in the most charitable way, would rather send thousands of ballots to homeless shelters that don’t have a single bed than dare disenfranchise a homeless person.
📰New reporting found that thousands of homeless voters were registered at Los Angeles shelters — yet many reportedly did not live there, and many facilities had zero beds.
Follow the money💸: Socialist Nithya Raman gave $600,000 to one of the drop-in centers that had 185 registered voters using its address, but the facility doesn’t offer overnight beds.
‼️Yes, the right of a homeless person to vote is extremely important
🤷But does that outweigh my right to not have my vote overshadowed by ballots that get dropped at an organization that may have a vested interest in preserving the billions of dollars flowing into the homelessness industry?
📊This comes as Nithya Raman eliminated reality TV star Spencer Pratt in LA’s mayoral race
Reality🤷: You don’t have to cheat when you make the rules
Must watch📱: Larry O’Connor’s conversation with a former member of the Federal Election Commission on how California’s post-election rules easily open the door for manipulation
Tonight📺: The 2Way trio: Mark Halperin, Larry O’Connor and Kevin Walling

This may sound stupid but…can there be thousand more votes found to put Pratt above Raman?
Wow! Wasn't sure about the SubStack thing, but it's a HECK OF A LOT easier to read! RE: Trump/Iran- he needs to understand that he is in this mess now. Like it or not, understand where you are. Like the quote from "The Untouchables" says, "When they put one of yours in the hospital, you put two of their in the morgue." It's the only thing Iranian leadership understands.
