Tucker is why JD Vance can never win. JD is tied to him and Tucker is an anchor bringing him dowwwwwwn....along w anyone standing next to him. What a total freak.
If JD kept the same image that he had when Hillbilly Elegy came out-he'd win by a landslide but in the years after he was not supporting the people of Appalachia but the Tech moguls from San Francisco. Vance was certainly the brightest of the either Prez or VP but brightness is not wins public support
It lays out how young Americans feel the system is rigged — or do they just not understand how hard life is?....we have a generation where pretty much everything has been given to them...no more waiting for the Sears catalogue to pick out that special gift because it can be ordered on line today and received perhaps as early as tomorrow. We don't expect kids to do any chores or contribute to the household in any way and they are not taught responsibility. Has anyone taught them humility, honesty, forgiveness or generosity?...LIFE IS HARD and they are not at all prepared for it l.
I agree with you 100 percent! I see this on my grandkids... they're good kids but are spoiled beyond belief. They want for nothing and are not taught politeness or etiquette or respect. Their language is foul because they've heard it in their household from the time they were little. At least when my kids were born, we cleaned up our act and didn't curse with every other sentence we spoke. No appreciation for anything either. Very sad!
Off subject... Iran is more than likely being supplied using the Caspian Sea from either Russia or China. We have zero presence there, Russia on the north coast, Iran on the south coast. "WE" continue to talk about the Arabian Sea, our or their blocking the Straight of Hormuz... so? Iran simply laughs, getting what it wants from their "water backdoor" the Caspian Sea. I'd like to hear you talk to this point Leland.
To me, the election of democratic socialists feels like a plan the Democrats have put in motion. One where they put forward the most obnoxious, obscure socialists so crazy that the average democratic candidate running against them feels like a sure, safer bet. Essentially, they know the socialist is too crazy to be elected, so it forces the hands of the voters to choose the democrat the party actually wanted to be elected in the first place. Time will tell.
The problem is not 'the system'.. the problem is a lack of morality in politics and our society. The 'system' only works if politicians are honest and put the people ahead of themselves. These politicians are a product of our societal breakdown. Fix society or else the 'system' won't matter. We need people who aren't corrupted by power and greed to run our country.. and those folks are hard to find!
Sounds like another great show tonight, Leland. Loved the 2 Way Trio last night but they weren't on long enough. Looking forward to your show tonight as always
I completely agree with Steve Cortes. I am old enough to remember the 50's and therefore have lived through many years of Capitalism, which has served me well, but there will never be the
50's. I wish my children and grand-children could have the same life we had then. It was so
wonderful in every way and I still have friendships today that agree
The Republicans have one: Marco Rubio
Agree

Government run stores are a horrible idea. I visited a government department store with many empty shelves in 2006 when I was in Mongolia.
Gary, I was in Mongolia in 2006, 2010 and 2014 as part of a medical missionary team. Similar to Doctors Without Borders. What were you doing there ?
I worked for a non-profit that had a number of programs. They had new finance, program management staff that I went out to train.

It’s easy for Russia to get things into Iran that way. But, not sure how much oil Iran can get out.
Good point on the oil topic. I should have defined in my comments... weapons !
Thank you for bringing up subject of oil. Well done.
No obama.
And no Tucker Carlson. He’s a waste of flesh. I wouldn’t mind another Reagan, though.
We're in the throws of mid term madness, the political ads will be crazier and crazier. How low will they go? You line up a great show again!
Great panel tonight - Go Amil- Steve Cortez wants the 50’s back? Yikes.
Keep the faith Leland your show rarely disappoints- awesome tonight -
