I agree with you Leland, because I believe that history is going against President Trump, and I’m a realist, and unfortunately, the republicans will probably lose the House a.k.a. Congress, but I’m cautiously optimistic that the republicans have a better chance of keeping the Senate. The 2026 midterms are the most high- stakes midterms of our lifetime. This is about preserving the U.S.A., respecting our founding fathers, and preserving our constitutional republic for future generations. My hero of the founding fathers is Thomas Jefferson. It should be interesting. Dawn Marie

I am registered as independent in Kansas. With regard to polls, surveys, etc., I no longer respond. If I receive a text message to take a survey, I am concerned that it could be a phishing scam of some sort. If I receive a phone call, I simply state that I no longer participate in surveys. In the past, I have noticed that the questions can be ambiguous or misleading, based upon how they are asked and in what sequence they are asked. When one looks at the polls vs. results of the past few election cycles, I do not have much confidence in their accuracy. The error margins of polls are not given as much attention as the results themselves.
