Didn’t know if it was appropriate to laugh at your father’s text. You looked fine. But really, Mr Vittert, it’s extremely humid.

The chairs are flying across the deck and about to be washed overboard. Does the GOP have a big enough lifeboat? Trump, his ballroom, and his lack of interest in how his economy is affecting the average person reminds me of Marie Antoinette. I think your hair is great, btw.

See my comment from earlier today. In case you missed it, LeLand, don't listen to your father this time -- your big hair is your best asset!

Houston is extremely humid too, same thing with my hair lol love your dad chiming in.

Why is it so humid? Duhhhhh- because of Israel....

It's always Israel.

Oh good heavens! The GOP look to be done for, unless they wise up, like tomorrow..I agree, keep the flock.. big points for kicking, very nice.. sounds like a week rounded show tonight, see you then!

If you will host another so called flock expert like the ACLU guy, be sure to ask him about actual cases solved by these lprs. They don't want to talk about that.

The cameras have value. They have been used successfully to track hit and run drivers, kidnappers, etc. Leave the cameras alone and prosecute people who use them for personal vendettas.

Great War Notes, dead on topics as usual. Your show is a key must-see TV for me.

Re Dems: mayor Pete is the latest DSA supplicant. Like Robespierre, he’ll back whoever the current winner is. As for the GOP, see below.

Re Hair: just have your father watch a video of “Hair” or “Godspell”….. he’ll never revisit the subject…..

Re Flock (of cameras): All technology has benefits and detriments. Yes these omnipresent surveillance can help protect citizens from crime. Mussolini also got the trains to run on time….. Dangerous freedom always beats safe tyranny.

I’ll just do the hustle past the UFOs and kabuki.

Re GOP: it’s almost like watching the citizens of 5th century Rome up in arms about the animals in the zoo being barbecued by the Visigoths and ignoring the sacking of the city and the end of the western Roman Empire. The Republicans almost act like they want to lose and actively seek failing.

“…we have rearranged the deck chairs here on the Titanic. Would you care to request a favorite musical selection for the remainder of the voyage?” GOP seems to be comfortable going down with the ship, of course, the Titanic was touted to be unsinkable so maybe they actually think they’re safe.

$400 million for the White House ballroom, $15 million for the reflecting pool, maybe $15 million to fix it up, and 1/3 of our Patriot missiles left. And nothing to show for it. What are we doing here?

Btw, I also like your hair, Leland and had to chuckle at your dad's comment. He's a good dad despite his not liking your big hair!! LOL

Some scary stuff going on in our world! Leland, I wish you could advise the President. Someone needs to and you seem spot on with so many of your thoughts. The President should listen to you. Looking forward to your show tonight as always ♥️

"I hate Mackinac so much," he said in the doc. "Every time I've ever come here I've hated it. Why am I here?" I say that every time I go to New York City, and the problem with that is? I bet you don’t like some places also.

Will the Republicans wake up in time? They need to fire up right now, time is of the essence! Ilike the idea of removing the cap in social security and the rest. keep the contributions coming! (Who will be the charismatic GOP leader that is needed?) Sayed is such a magnet for Dems now.

- I'm wondering why they didn't stop the ballroom project for Congressional approval BEFORE they broke ground?

Can't wait for tonight!

GrmaJenkins's avatar

Or before they tore down the building. Since Trump doesn’t follow the normal procedure, perhaps he, personally, should pay for his ballroom project. He apparently had a no-bid contract for the reflecting pool; he should pay for that boondoggle, too; but, it seems that he wants to criminally charge people and have them pay for the shoddy work by his contractor.
