The cameras have value. They have been used successfully to track hit and run drivers, kidnappers, etc. Leave the cameras alone and prosecute people who use them for personal vendettas.

He apparently had a no-bid contract for the reflecting pool; he should pay for that boondoggle, too; but, it seems that he wants to criminally charge people and have them pay for the shoddy work by his contractor.
