I commented on several of your subjects from your midday post so I’ll spare everyone a repetition.
Except Elon Musk. Not because he has a cult like following, but because he’s a national City Father from 100 years ago. He sees a need, something he can do that makes his home better for everyone. The fact that he gets a tax break is just an additional incentive. Gifting—not giving—SpaceX stock to every American minor will give the recipients a start in life. They’ll have wealth, which means owning more than you owe. Best of all, this is private sector, not a government program funded ultimately by taxpayers.
It would be spectacular if other derided and in some cases despised billionaires followed Elon’s lead with other acts to gift things we need.
Evil is showing its face this Monday and Trump is walking a very fine line.
._All your warnings to us over the years about the French Revolution, Putin's European Ambitions and Muslim Migration have been realized, and are at blind to the fact that the same issues are popping up all over this country?

Russian President Vladimir Putin has always been evil, he’s an ex- KGB agent and I personally don’t like the way President Donald Trump cozies up to Russian President Vladimir Putin because evil is real and we can’t trust anything he says or does.Dawn
My thoughts on Trump’s deal to buy oil from Putin are: what are our vital interests in Ukraine? Europe has no problem giving Russia billions to buy energy. So the USA should stand alone and continue to eat high energy prices? As for Putin, the murdering thug, we do business, billions of dollars with Xi in China without a care. Of the 19 terrorist hijackers who were responsible for 911, 15 are citizens of our friend Saudi Arabia.

Your comment about giving appreciated stock to your children tax free is incorrect, I believe. Stepped up basis stock only transfers upon death. Musk has no doubt characterized this project as a qualified donation which may give him the tax break that you described. Your overall analysis is correct but I wouldn’t want your subscribers to think that they could use the same strategy with their own children (unless they die).
Corbin can be aggravating at times, but tonight he came up with some good points. Is it correct to say that a good portion of the money Maddof fleeced from his wealthy investors was eventually tracked down and returned to them?
