As far as I’m concerned, when it comes to Eloise Slotkin, If I was advising her, I would sat to her to shut up and stop it because she’s trying to scare people to not work for President Trump, and that’s none of her business, and she has absolutely no credibility.Dawn
No real wage gap in the past? How about the late 1890’s into the 1900’s — the robber Barron era. It seems to me that there was a significant gap between day Rockefeller and the guy or gal in the garment district sweat shops. We managed to correct that gap — can we do it again?
The world and especially Europe and NATO should have provided significant support for Ukraine from the start. A coalition similar to the one when Iraq invaded Kuwait to push out Russia would have sent a powerful message. The conditional help we provided with an emphasis on not attacking inside Russia sent the wrong message. Putin was free to attack anywhere in Ukraine (even civilian targets) while Ukraine was kept from taking the war to Russia. That is not an effective strategy.

Trump should not make a Deal with The Devil Putin. If Putin gets any part of Ukraine, he will not stop. Like Hitler. France gave in to Hitler. They eventually built a powerful resistance tho, but they were a gateway. Are they now too?-Tell your young people about the reason for WW II.

Re Ukraine: Trump cutting a deal with Putin to "end the war" in Ukraine brings to mind Chamberlain's "Peace in our Time" deal, the "peace deal" between the U.S. and the government of North Vietnam (before the North "merged" with the South), and Biden's "withdrawal" from Afghanistan that made Dunkirk look like a Homecoming parade. Any deal with Putin is ultimately the capitulation to whatever Putin opts to do. The reality is there is no good option. The US and NATO cannot continue throwing cash and munitions we don't have into Ukraine without end. Biden send $$ but no weapons, Trump sends weapons and less money. Putin just needs to outlast everyone--and he's proven adept at survival. Also, the US is constrained by quickly emptying stores of weapons. This latter point is not Trump's problem. It dates back to the Clinton Administration "Peace Dividend" cutting defense spending and programs and Obama's cutting defense spending and programs faster than water pours over Niagara Falls. I fear in the end everyone loses but Putin. And Xi, who gets to see every adversary weaken.
Re The Ohio Amy Acton ad: This proves that even the worst advertising (like the little girl playing in her backyard followed by a nuclear bomb mushroom cloud in the 1964 presidential campaign) can be replaced as the worst thing.
Re Elections: Hysteria and fear-mongering never works. You know Trump doing a copy/paste of a Joe Biden idea will bomb. Reagan was right about fascism (a form of socialism) and the good of the American people. It'd be nice for some Democrats to also realize the dangers of socialistic government control. Stopping stupid fear-mongering like Slotkin would be a bonus.
Re Ilham Omar: I'm not surprised she's dropped out of sight. There's not just smoke, there's probably a bonfire with this one. It may be smart for her to be out of sight and quiet. Recall that what you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
Look forward to Alan Dershowitz. He's a classic, true liberal and a legal mind Perry Mason would look up to. I don't always agree with his views, but I never doubt his command of the laws and the facts.
There is an alternative to reaching an agreement in Ukraine that could take place, but it would require getting very tough with Putin, which Trump is not willing to do. Getting tough with Ukraine means going all in to support Ukraine militarily, while also enforcing the Russian sanctions that could be effective if fully applied. Putin's economy has been hurting, and he is/was very concerned about those sanctions, which is why he appealed to Trump to suspend them. Trump should listen to retired Gen. Jack Keane, chairman of the Institute for War, who has said all along that the only way to get Putin to negotiate is by being tough on him. Trump doesn't want to do it because he envisions a tremendous business deal with Putin. But it could work if Trump could be convinced to change course.

Wow. Looks like a blockbuster agenda tonight.

There are really no good political ads but this latest one for Amy Acton has to be the worst. What is happening?!
