Spoiler alert 🚨: The deal Trump outlined this morning with Iran seems far, far from done

• 🤦Just after the market closed — Trump walked almost all of it back

  • Trump: We’ve done a good job, but we’ll see. Talks are going on. It’ll go on over the weekend. And a lot of good things are happening, and that includes Lebanon.

  • Report: Iran says there’s significant differences.

  • Trump: Well, there could be. Let’s see what happens. If there are, we’ll have to straighten it out. But I don’t think there’s too many significant differences.

Today’s perspective‼️: Trump’s tweets this morning are akin to holding a news conference outside a Persian rug store, saying they will sell you every rug in the store for $10, all because the rug store owner invited you to take a look at his rugs.

• 🤷It’s possible, but a long, long, long way away.

• 💰Or maybe you get the rugs for $10 if you give the rug store $20 billion.

  • 📰Axios reports Trump is offering $20 billion in unfrozen assets to Iran.

  • Look back🔙: They are the ones who blackmailed the world by closing the strait to get a “ceasefire” in Lebanon

  • 🤦We had a deal to end Midnight Hammer and the 12-day war last year — they allegedly agreed, and we all know what happened

Weekend plans📅: The negotiations will continue this weekend despite serious questions about whether the Iranians are even allowing ships through the strait.

Bottom line🤷: The Iranian good words are worth nothing — Trump must start demanding and receiving good deeds, or it’s clear he is getting played.
